We’re just two teenage girls writing a story together. We come from different writing backgrounds – N is primarily a songwriter and M is a blogger, journalist, and essayist – and we live across the country from one another, but we’ve bonded through our mutual love of writing and decided to start “The Adventures of Nicole and Maya” as a way of celebrating our friendship and our writing. We’re going to mesh the two together into a story only we can tell. We’ll draw on our own life experiences, and build on each other’s posts, as we write. Neither of us has ever tried anything like this before, and we do not plan the plot ahead of time. We know what the other writes when you do – full disclosure. Wish us luck!
